Live bait, Wild Shiner fishing has been really good. We're catching a lot of big fish in the 5 - 9 lb. range. Artificial lures have been producing decent numbers of fish, but the average size has been a lot smaller. Been guiding everyday. No energy left to write a lengthy fishing report. Lots of new big fish pictures for the photo gallery. I'll put them up when I have time. White 1/4 spinner baits with chrome willow leaf blades, slow rolled on off shore grass beds are working pretty well. During the early morning hours you can catch them on Zoom FLukes near the same areas.

Schooling Bass in during the morning hours can be caught on Big Lake Butler by dead sticking watermelon/red Zoom Super Flukes. This technique seems to be the best pattern throughout the day on the entire chain.
