Questions & Answers:

  1. How do I schedule a trip? Scheduling or inquiring about a guide trip is as easy as calling (407) 242-4321 or emailing info@chucksguideservice.com. To learn more, visit our Book A Trip page.
  2. What trip options do you offer? We offer Half Day (4hrs), Super-Half Day (6hrs), and Full Day (8hrs) guide trips. These are fishing hours, not hours on the water. If you book a 4 hour Half Day trip, you'll get four hours of fishing time. This calculates out to about five hours on the water. Please see our Guide Rates page for more details.
  3. What do I need to bring? All you need to bring are snacks and food, if desired. You may also bring any fishing tackle that you'd like to use. A fishing license is required for anyone over the age of 16. They can be purchased online by visiting MyFWC.com or by calling 1-888-347-4356. Licenses may also be purchased by phone the morning of your trip.
  4. What do you provide? We provide quality spinning & bait casting reels (left & right-handed), Kistler Custom Fishing Rods, the latest artificial lures, sunscreen, rain gear, ice, bottled water, and regular & diet softdrinks. Live bait is an extra expense and can be purchased the morning of the trip.
  5. Which is better; artificial lures or live bait (Wild Shiners)? At times, the use of artificial lures can produce more and bigger fish than live bait. The majority of the time, however, live Wild Shiners will produce more Trophy sized fish. Often, we will use a little of both.
  6. I have no fishing experience. Is that okay? No fishing experience is needed. We pride ourselves in having the ability to teach our customers the latest tips and techniques for catching Trophy Largemouth Bass. With over 10 years experience as a guide and professional tournament angler, I'm sure you'll enjoy the learning experience.
  7. Do you offer transportation? We offer FREE transportation to/from Orlando and Kissimee area hotels and resorts.
  8. Can you assist in scheduling hotel, airfare, and rental car? Through our other company, BoatClub.com, we are able to offer our customers the convenience of scheduling your entire Florida fishing trip in one convenient location. Visit our Travel Center for more information.
  9. Can I use your guide service for a day, then rent an equally equipped boat to use on my own for an additional day or two? We actually have a much better option! Through BoatClub.com, we can offer our customers something no other Central Florida fishing guide service can... The ability to utilize our professional guide services for a day, then use one of our fully equipped Skeeter ZX20 Bay Boats for up to two more days with in a six day period.   11. Who will be my fishing guide? Every trip that is booked through Chuck's Guide Service is done by me, Chuck Pippin Jr. If I am unavailable, I will be more than happy to assist you in scheduling a trip with another guide. To ensure you're able to find the best guide, I'll even take the responsibility of scheduling your trip for you. Multiple boat (group trips) can also be arranged.
  12. What if I need to cancel a reservation? In the event you need to cancel. Please call (407) 242-4321 at least 24 hours prior to the trip. There are no cancellation fees. If you simply do not show up for a scheduled trip, you will not be able to schedule future reservations.
